Using the SIM Card
Using the SIM Card for the first time
- Power off your phone
- Insert your new SIM card
- Power on your phone
- Ensure that roaming is turned on your phone.
- Your phone should connect on a GSM/WCDMA/LTE network.
Please also note, using this SIM card to surf Internet or make calls outside covered countries will significantly reduce the data and voice usage capacity, or even cause the SIM card to stop functioning.
Receiving calls
People anywhere in the world can dial your UK or French number directly to reach you, for example, +44774132 12345 or +33674132 12345. The local number is especially useful for booking cabs, hotels and restaurant reservations.
Making local calls
For the purposes of this card, local calls include calls to any country mentioned under “Coverage”, from any country mentioned under “Coverage”. To make such calls use the full international format. E.g. to call a UK landline number from any country use (for example) +44 207 222 1234.
eSIM stands for “embedded” SIM which is installed in your phone by scanning a QR code. The QR code is sent to you by eMail. If an activation date is required the QR code is sent after activation, else 24hours after completing your documentation.

eSIM Compatible Phones:
eSIM will only work in eSIM compatible phones. As a general rule, iPhone 11 and Android model 2021 and higher models are compatible with eSIM.
Single Use Only
eSIM codes can be used only once. Please do not delete the eSIM created on your phone, since it cannot be recreated on your phone or any other phone. To transfer an eSIM from one phone to another you must visit the store of the Operator concerned.
Activating eSIM on your Device
iPhone XR, XS and newer
- Go to Settings, then Cellular.
- Select Add a plan, and the Camera app will open.
- Point your camera at the QR activation code until you see a message that says Installing cellular plan.
2021 Android and newer
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager
- Tap Add mobile plan
- Tap Add using QR code
- Scan the QR activation code

Details
I bought 2 sims –
1) Rs. 2,489 with 19 GB internet & 28 days (Spain number) for myself.
2) Rs. 1,389 with 10 GB internet & 30 days (UK number) for my spouse.
Delivery for both the sims was prompt and I got the sims within the next 1 day. 5 stars for that.
Activation for Spain number went smooth when we landed in Paris. However, there was some glitch with the UK number and calls weren’t going through. TSIM chat service was very prompt and they resolved the issue within few minutes.
Coverage – never faced signal network problem across all the three countries – France, Spain and Portugal even in remote areas. Got 4G everywhere.
Few minor issues that I faced
1. I wasn’t able to make EU calls using the Spain number when I was in Spain. This was probably because only local calls were allowed which wasn’t mentioned in the product description. However, TSIM customer service tried to debug the issue a lot and even replied at late India hours over whatsapp. Hats off to them. Since internet was working so it wasn’t a major issue.
2. I had difficulty in checking remaining data balance for Spain number on the movistar account. I couldn’t download the movistar app on phone since it is not available for India playstore. I had to resort to tracking data usage from my phone settings. This wasn’t a problem with the UK number where my spouse was able to clearly check the data balance on the 3 (Service provider) app.
Overall it was a good experience with TSIM and I would definitely use it again on my next EU trip.

Absolutely worth buying TSIM.
The only problem faced, was unable to track data usage for the spain issued sim card, tried all the given options still could not track..
For me Rs. 2489 plan with 19 GB covered 29 days seamlessly, last 2 days my internet pack was exhausted and I had to look for other options for last two days.
I would definitely recommend buying TSIM for your next EU trip.
The water proof mobile cover also proved to be quite useful, as it rains frequently there.

First the activation was not done on the first day of my visit.
The number got activated on next day so the whole purpose of buying the sim did not served.
In the collect call kindly use the third party numbers of UK only so that the person on the other side can pick the call , as in some of the collect calls the number shown was of some black listed counties.

Bought a simcard for Europe. The card failed to register when I switched it on in Sweden. Bought a local simcard as the navigation was dependant on it. Raised the issue with Tsim when I got back. In general our cards are provided for tourist use with restrictions on total trip time that vary from operator to operator and country to country. For Europe SIM Cards only the 14 day SIM cards can have their validity extended for another 14 days. Further extension is possible only after registration with the operator Orange France. Apart from that everything was good, the network was good – I did not face any challenge in using the network where ever I was, it was quite strong for video as well as text message or using any websites. I took 2 TSIM Europe Unlimited SIMS. First did not get activated for 3 days and it was a huge effort to get it resolved. The 2nd SIM did not get activated at all !!!! After several days of follow up, i was informed by TSIM that the SIM cannot be activated due to some technical reason. I was assured a refund and it is 45 days and there is no sign of a refund. For Europe, Orange Offers an ESIM which can be purchased and installed online, without any physical visit or physical document. Pricing is also comparable to TSIM.

But this time, first of all, I was not provided with the Lifetime card. Secondly, the card which was given hardly worked anywhere. It gave only 2G/3G at most places. I used the Unlimited Europe Sim for two weeks in Turkey and UK between 19 Nov 2019 and 3rd Dec. I must commend the excellent connectivity which was always available. The data speed was excellent in both the countries. Even in the remotest Scottish highlands I got good connectivity of both voice and data. One issue (if it can be called an issue) I observed was sometimes connectivity was lost but it was regained after putting the phone in flight mode and back in a few seconds. Overall great service. Will definitely use it again on my next trip.

We used the Unlimited Europe SIM Card during our multi country trip to Europe and the network was really good during our entire trip. Our main usage was for data however we also called up some local or other European nation numbers occasionally. Never used it to call India as we always relied on whatsapp calling feature for it.
There was limited 4GB data in the card I had taken so we didn’t use the data for video streaming but apart from that Google maps, mails, messaging etc. worked like a charm and at the end of trip we had more than 2 GB left out. I would recommend everyone to purchase this for Europe travel. This is one of the cheapest and best option available in market today for Indian customers

A must have item while traveling as you get the data 24 hrs at good speed. Earlier we were looking at free WiFi to get on to the net. I have used this TSIM Card earlier too. We explored the local places on our own and needed the GPS all the time – walking tours, shopping and locating places / eateries. Sometimes the diction of the local guides was difficult to understand and Lo ! we could get into google on the spot and learn more about the history etc., We could even decide to visit or skip places to see after a short search.
Very convenient for Indian travelers who need to be in touch with calls to India. We got clear voice calls. Only problem was to call the UK number, wait, use the India prefix +91 and then dial the India number. We had to memorise or note down the number before calling, Very little time is given to make the call after you get a nod from the UK number. We could not pick India number from our contact list. Worth the spend on it.

Use the sim in France, Switzerland and Italy. There were no problems faced in France and Switzerland but in Rome, it would periodically switch off data and so had to turn on/off airplane mode frequently. This problem was faced only in Rome for 3 days but everywhere else the sim worked well. I would recommend the sim to friends travelling to europe as the best and cheapest option.

I used it in Switzerland for 8 days. Used only 200 MB of data – was extremely useful to plan trips /find trains on the go with the SBB app. Calling to India is 2 stage and had good clarity from major cities such as Interlaken and Lucerne. It was a bit poor from some of the other cities but I had no issues with data in such places. Using whatsapp on data worked fine in one such place (I tried this the last day – wish I had done so earlier). Overall, a value for money.
Tips: Insert the SIM card only after reaching Europe. Dial 444 to know the balance if it is a Three SIM. (I think it was mentioned as 333 in this website, I searched Three’s website and got the correct number)

– 4G network speed meets all your expectations.

I STRONGLY recommend:
1) keep the customer care number, mobile number of new sim, your order ID on hand
2) read the directions for india 2-stage dialling (or buy the non-economy version!)
With those precautions in mind, the SIM works well. Customer service is very responsive and helpful. Took a couple tries as I found directions confusing, but India dialling also works well, good quality.
I recommend ordering a converter im case the bonus gift one they provide gets a bit loose.

I used two cards for a Family trip to France and Switzerland.
I was guided very well by TSIM call center staff with important tips like get the SIM activated one day before travel, i.e. while in India, insert the SIM only after reaching the airport of the destination country and also on the most beneficial plan.
Both cards worked well in both countries. However calls to India through a UK number were cumbersome as one has to remember the India number and dial it physically than access through the phone’s contact list.
2GB data was sufficient and was great help in navigating by google map.
However, we conserved data whats app.

I used the European and UK SIM card with 12 GB data.
I loaded it in India on the travel day but it showed some vague message I could not understand. The Team was helpful and asked me to reinsert the SIM card at the destination. I expected it to start working on its own, It did not. I contacted the team and soon, it worked. Data was fast and I could make calls to India and locally. I had problem once but the team sorted it out.
I left for UK after 10 days. It did not work in UK on arrival. Once again, I had to contact the team and after WhatsApp an chat, it was set right. In the days I was in UK, I repeatedly faced the same problems. The SIM worked sometimes and off sometimes. Each time I had to contact the team. While it worked it worked fine, including hotspots. But then, each time, I could contact the team only when free WiFi was available. But the support was prompt .
Contrary to what they claim, the SIM does not seem to function on its own without prodding

My wife and I both opted for the Unlimited Europe Sim on a recent trip in May 2019.
The card worked very well in Switzerland ,Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Italy & Germany.
The only issue we both faced was that we were unable to call 2 of our friends who were travelling with us and who had taken Matrix prepaid sim cards – their numbers were UK numbers too (just like our own TSIM numbers) but we were unable to call their numbers. They were able to call us though. We could connect to them using whats app calling . I had escalated the matter to TSIM on their whats app number but they were unable to resolve the issue. I had also sent them a snapshot of the error message …. “Sorry it has not been possible to connect your call. Please try again later.” with a “DISMISS” at the bottom of the screen. But there was no resolution.
Besides the above issue, the TSIM worked very well.
I would still consider using TSIM for my next trip.

I landed in Zurich with lost baggages by the airline yesterday. I had the tsim card along, and I had a very bad experience.. the data and call got connected for around 20 minutes and then nothing was working, all stopped. I couldn’t call, couldn’t use data, the three app didn’t download and three website I created an account but no help from there too. Called tsim and they created an I’d number 911153 but haven’t received any response yet since over 12 hours.
I’m still in Zurich and spent a day without network.
Highly disappointed by tsim and the service.

I bought the EU-only 15-days Economy SIM. It started working from the moment I landed in Paris. It worked just fine in other cities too: Stuttgart, Munich, Budapest, Berlin, Amsterdam. I got 12 GB of 3G data, and I consumed only about 6 GB of it in 13 days .
Sometimes inside of some stores and malls in Stuttgart, despite the 100% signal strength and the available 3G+/H+, the internet wasn’t working.
Probably, the partner network in Stuttgart needs to do some work. (I don’t remember if it was O2 – DE or some other).
P.S.- The economy SIM works only on 3G+/H+, it does not go on to 4G/LTE.
But 3G+ was good enough for WhatsApp calls and Google Maps and also, occasional Instagram (uploads did take a little while though).
Advice for TSIM: If possible, you should come up with a cheaper plan offering about 5 GB of data in the EU-economy SIM as most people will not even need 12 GB.
About the travel adapter: it worked flawlessly. Just that it was loose for the power sockets in ICE trains and kept falling out due to the not-centered location and absence of locking mechanism for EU pins.

The card was for 125 mins in Hungary and unlimited in Germany. Although I did not face any issues with range or internet speed, I did not get the promised talk time in Hungary. It was barely 50 mins and I have all the call recordings to prove it. When you try to call the helpline for balance, there is no answer. This was something unexpected and since I had to make calls, I ultimately wound up activating my international roaming pack from my home network provider(which I did not want to in the first place and my prime reason to take a T sim) from whom I received as promised. I would definitely not use T sim again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either.

IT DOESN’T WORK IN ICELAND. No 3G, No 4G in Iceland. It just shows signal. But you can’t even send WhatsApp message. Forget about anything else. Luckily I had WiFi router in my rental car, which worked excellent across Iceland.
So, if you are going to Iceland, please stat away from this SIM card.

The sim was working perfectly fine when I reached to Spain. I had a good experience with the calling and internet. The internet was working good and the speed was also fast for first 150MB (that is more than enough if you are using it only to find directions). If you are using the android phone, then make sure you turn on the ‘connect to data while roaming’ feature, otherwise it will not work. When you insert the SIM in the mobile, it shows ‘Ultra roaming’ on network bar. The only thing I didn’t like is that there is no full description of the sim. It was not written anywhere that there will be reduction of two minutes for one minute if we call local numbers. And SMS will also be reduced as minutes. They called me after I purchased the SIM and then they told me about this. But for international calling it was excellent. The voice was clear. Anyway, it was an outstanding experience with TSIM.

Best thing is, just insert the SIM just after landed over there and it gonna activated and started working. I have used mobile data when we went for a trip where no WIFI is available and it works nicely.
Boring part is, to call india, we need to dial fixed number first, after automated response, we need to type whole bumber with country code (copy-paste does not works in dialer) and wait for few seconds to connect to it; but after connects, it works smoothly!
Over all, It is a worth to have TSIM.

We took a 30 days EU plan for a trip to Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway and Sweden) The 3,000 minutes local calling was as good as unlimited and we didn’t use even half the 12 GB allotted. But the best part was how easy it was. Just landed, inserted SIM in the One Plus 6 phone and it started without any issues and worked throughout the trip even when crossing all the countries. We didn’t get a local number but a UK number but for us incoming was more on WhatsApp and not a GSM phone call as such. The 4G was nearly everywhere except a cruise and some remote locations where it fell back to 3G or Edge but 95% of the trip it was on 4G. Overall we were very happy and had no issues at all and would be happy to recommend this to others.

Card worked really well for most of the trip. We visited 8 countries and it worked in all of them except for Bosnia, which is not on the list. I would request them to add this to the list as well since neighboring countries like Montenegro and Serbia are covered. The only issue I had was when I was in Dubrovnik in Croatia. Mobile data was either not working or was extremely slow. I also did not receive any local numbers during my entire trip. Not sure if anything special needs to be done to get the local numbers, but we didn’t really need it, so it was fine.

The given UK number worked (for incoming from India), though local numbers came on entry at different countries, I am not sure whether they worked. TSIM unlimited Europe SIM Card was very useful during our trip to Spain and Italy. It even worked in Istanbul (our flight got diverted due to weather and TSIM worked there as well) ! It was a big relief. As soon as we landed, we got Spain local number and that was helpful in booking in restaurants as they asked for local number. However, no local number was received in Italy. But that didn’t create any problem for us. We could use GPS throughout our journey of two weeks.
Would use TSIM again when we visit Europe next.
Would highly recommend all overseas travellers to use TSIM.

I used this in Italy. I went for local Italian number option which did actually show up whenever I called anyone locally. The calls to local numbers and also to India worked fine.The data coverage was excellent. I did a 14 day road trip through Italy and I used Google Maps GPS throughout with this SIM. Per day usage was hardly 25 MB of the 250 MB limit provided per day. I received the SIM within two days after ordering. Completely satisfied with the service and would recommend it.

Nothing great to boast of. [Reference to trademarks edited]. Tsim customer service also needs a revamp and training. At the start after many attempts to find some aid on the call centre one advisor atlast came to our aid to set things right. Meanwhile i had to use the hotel wifi. Stress and discomfort needs to be eliminated for being outstanding. Otherwise tsim is as mediocre as other network companies. There are errors to amend. First start in sales dept. with a good attitude.

The SIM is good to use. But the customer service is the worst ever service. They initially, by mistake recharged more amount to my sim and told me that is my balance. Then they suddenly deducted a big amount telling me it was mistakenly recharged. So I had a great trouble abroad. They took extra charge for express delivery, but they delivered me at the last moment at the airport. They took 150 rupees for checking my mobile, but I didn’t receive any call. They did not refund that amount also. Some of their customer support staffs are really ignorant. I am happy with the call quality and all, but due to the service I will try not to go with tsim in future.

While the concept is good of using a single SIM, only when it works… on several occasions the SIM card was not recognised and this was completely random (not while travelling between countries). You could wake up one morning and find an error message, which left you high and dry! I was on a 15 day trip to Europe through Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands and UK. The SIM worked perfectly fine throughout the journey and I am very happy with the kind of service they provided.
There was this one time where I was unable to my 4G LTE internet work, so I contacted their support team. The support team handled the issue with great deal of importance they assured me that I would soon be able to connect to the internet. They helped me with the steps to change the network settings etc, and my internet worked again without any issues thereafter.

I used TSIM as a provider for travel through Europe as i did a road trip from Italy, france and germany. My sim did not start immediately on inserting, and had to reinsert a couple of times . My calls and sms worked fine, only data was erratic as some days i wouldnt receive any data and had to rely on local wi fi. The data package I had was for 250 MB per day on 3G, but i never used it upto limit due to this nor did i use even 10% of the 1000 minutes of calls available. But when I received network it worked well.
Calls worked everywhere and i received the local numbers in Italy and france but not germany
However, overall, TSIM is a good provider and I would recommend getting a TSIM before such travels

The SIM worked wonderfully in all the countries I visited which included Hungary Croatia and slovenia where I was advised the cellular services are not so good.
However there was an issue that when we were calling someone the number was showing unknown and the called party could not call back and at times the called party avoided accepting the call.
The data package I had was for 250 MB per day on 3G. However the Data service worked perfectly but totally packed up the moment it reached exactly 2GB and there was no data service in the last few days of my tour. Whether 3G or 2G.

Did a long road trip through Europe&USA and TSIM was indispensable. Worked almost everywhere, except briefly in Alsace when Data signal disappeared. Calls worked everywhere. Received local numbers in all countries (France, belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland & USA), but not in Germany. Local number were useful for table reservations etc. In USA used it in Chicago, Atlanta, Richmond and Washington.
250MB per day Data was enough except for a one day.

Worked perfectly fine in all the countries I needed. Received a local number as soon as I landed in the respective countries. Data worked fine too and was fast. The only problem was that, in the data settings instructions on the website it isn’t mentioned that after doing all the settings on your phone you need to switch on data roaming only then your internet works ( for iPhone 6). Took me a while to figure out but then internet worked fine.

Used it for a short trip to Spain. Got an SMS with my Spain number as soon as I reached Barcelona. Had coverage throughout my trip, however I did not travel beyond urban areas. Data was fast everywhere and I did not use beyond my daily quota on any day.

My number showed up as ‘Unknown’ to everyone I called – out going Local calls in Luxemboug and India calls, and hence no one could call me back. Which means only outgoing calls were working, since no one could call me on an ‘Unknown’ number, I never had incoming calls.
This was not rectified after repeated complaints.
