Using the SIM Card
Using the SIM Card for the first time
- Power off your phone
- Insert your new SIM card into the first SIM card slot
- Power on your phone
- Your phone should connect on a GSM/WCDMA/LTE network.
Please also note, using this SIM card to surf Internet or make calls outside coverage countries will significantly reduce the data and voice usage capacity, or even cause the SIM card to stop functioning.
Receiving calls
People anywhere in the world can dial your UK number directly to reach you, for example, +44774132 12345.
Making Calls through Reverse Call
This SIM uses reverse call for outbound calls. When you dial using reverse call, the call disconnects and you receive a return call connecting you with the number you want to speak to.
If you fail to get a call back, redial the number followed by the “#” key.
Making local calls
For the purposes of this card, local calls include calls to any country in the same slab as the country from which you are calling. To make such calls use the full international format. E.g. to call a UK landline number from any country use (for example) +44 207 222 1234.
Emergency Call Number.
Please note Europe emergency call number “112” will NOT work in this card.
Making calls to India
Remember to add the country code when making calls to India. Check that the number begins with +91 before dialing. E.g. to call India number 022 24216344, dial +91 22 24216344

Should you use automatic or manual network selection?
There are two ways of selecting a network. You can either set your handset to use AUTOMATIC Network selection or MANUAL selection. When using automatic selection the handset will look for all networks that it is able to attach to and logs onto the first network it finds. When using manual selection you must manually search through the networks and select a network to attach to. We recommend using automatic network selection. Please refer to your handset manual to check the default settings for your phone.
Setting up call forwarding/divert
To activate call forwarding/call divert, dial *102(phone number in international format)#. You will get a confirmation message on the screen. For eg. *102912224216344#. To deactivate dial *103#
Setting data on your phone
Please ensure Mobile Data & Data Roaming is enabled on your phone. Setup APN (Access Point Name) manually as follows:
Set Access Point Name (APN) in your smartphone to “globaldata” without any username or password
On Android Phones, tap the Menu button / Settings / Mobile networks / Access Point Names / New APN / Set Name & APN as “globaldata” / OK / Save
On iPhone: Tap Settings / General / Network / Cellular Data Network / APN and enter “globaldata”. Leave username & password blank. Tap Network
On iPhone6 & above:
a. While connected to WiFi, open Safari and goto: m.apnchanger.org
b. Select Manual
c. Enter “globaldata” in APN Name (small letters & no spaces) and click install.
d. If asked for a PIN enter your iPhone 4 digit unlocking PIN
e. Approve the installation of the unsigned profile.
On some iPhone devices you will need to remove the existing current Profile (found in Settings-> General -> Profile -> Existing Profile -> Remove) before installing the Globaldata APN.
On Windows Phone: Go to Apps list / Settings / Mobile Network / Add Internet APN / Set APN as “globaldata” / Save
Checking your Balance
You will periodically get automatic balance messages on your phone. Another way to get balance information is to dial +163 162 10 001 from your phone and disconnect after a few rings. The call will not be answered and you will not be charged for that call. You will later receive an SMS with balance information.
Online Refill
Use this link to instantly add credit to this card. This link requires you to know either the SIM serial number (printed on the SIM) or the SIM phone number. If you are sure of neither, it is best to use the drop down under “New Card or Refill?” and choose Refill. Our helpdesk will trace out your earlier TSIM phone number and if necessary verify it with you before crediting the card.
Refund Policy
You are eligible for a refund on unused talktime/data with usage rounded to the next slab. I.e. If you use 2.8GB after subscribing to a 6GB SIM card, your usage will be taken to be 4GB, and you will get refund on the difference between the price of a 4GB and 6GB card. This refund is available for 12 months after payment.

There’s nothing on the website to indicate that if a ‘lifetime validity’ card isn’t used for a long time it will expire. At worst, we’re told, the number may change. But when I went to refill my card for my forthcoming trip to the UK I was told that because it hadn’t been used for a long time it had expired & I’d have to buy another. The copany has cheated me, & I shan’t be buying any of their products again.

This card did not work for data in Philippines . I wasted about 4 hours with customer service and they asked me to send all sort of screen shots which I did . Country was mentioned in the first place but after few hours, they said it will not work for Philippines, it was shocking . More shocking was that despite paying for faster delivery, blue dart guy did not deliver the SIM card at my place despite several reminders to customer services. Useless customer service and poor logistics partnerships.

I had purchased Lifetime Global Sim Card from TSIM and installed in my Samsung A30 Phone. It was working for about couple of hours since I landed in Milan / Genoa in the evening on 9-July. Thereafter it did not work at all. I had called up TSIM from Genoa on 10-July from alternate number. I was asked to remove the Sim and re-install after 10 minutes. I tried many times like this, without success. I was put into lot of inconvenience. After couple of days I returned to India and approached TSIM. They informed that because of the Network Problem, SIM would not have worked. I was unable to buy this argument. Even though TSIM refunded my amount it left a bitter taste for me.

Initially I was a bit skeptic on whether to use this or not. But it turned out to be an excellent choice. During my transit through Doha it did not work. But through my family using internet wifi I came to know that the sim must be inserted in the first sim slot to work. The company should have mentioned this somewhere explicitly. Later I changed to first sim slot and it worked in Germany, Spain, Italy and Slovenia perfectly. I will be transiting through Doha again on my return let us see if it works there or not. Purchased SIM card for my Finland, Sweden and Norway trip. Although it worked in all countries, I faced some problems in Finland. The network didn’t work for several hours at one point of time. APN automatically changed and I had to reset it manually several times specially after crossing borders and sometimes even on highways and moving from one city to another in same country.
The most frustrating part however was frequent communication from T-sim side. From the time I ordered SIM and till I returned India, I kept getting messages to upload documents e.g. Passport and Visa, which I had already uploaded. Before departing, I contacted support staff about this issue and they confirmed that they received my documents and I shall ignore SMS and emails as they were arising because of a system fault. While abroad, I received message from T-SIM on my whatsapp (in addition to email) requesting document upload immediately failing which services will be discontinued. This was really annoying and unprofessional.
Overall, the purpose of communication was served but the experience was not a pleasant one.

At times I use to not get the network and especially in this last 2 months in Europe and I was told to switch off my phone for few mins and than start and it was going well.

Used in Canada and USA. Outgoing calls proved a challenge and had to contact the service team repeatedly. They were nice enough to respond each time and the solution was to remove and replace the SIM. Having to do that repeatedly to get the phone working was rather inconvenient.
Once connected, call quality was good.
Data did work despite repeated attempts and I am wondering what to do when I travel again in the near future.

I got a refill of 400 min done on 9 may 2019 to my existing sim. All was good till I randomly went and checked the balance, turned out they had only topped up the sim with 380 min. Post that i’ve been in constant touch with the customer care. Every time i sent a message i had to explain the issue all over again as no one had any clue. I messaged them continuously for 6 days, and the only response i got was “the balance minutes will be added to the sim, and you can check it in 24 hours”. Till date neither have i got those balance minutes, neither has anyone from the customer care reached out to me. No follow ups done, no confirmations sent…pathetic customer service

We apologise for the confusion regarding your order. We advise customers to use the instant credit link to refill the card, rather than the drop down “New Card or Refill?”. The drop down is left as a courtesy for customers that have neither the SIM phone number or serial number at hand, or are unsure of these. These numbers are then searched out by our team and verified for the customer. The process of adding credit is a 2 stage one, in which some credit is added immediately to facilitate emergency use and the rest after the verification process is complete. At this point you should certainly see your complete credit added.

I was very excited about the concept of a lifetime global card so I purchased one for my trip to Egypt and Jordan. In Egypt, at Cairo I could make calls but I had purchased the phone for data and it just wouldn’t work. I contacted the customer care in India and they were very responsive but the problem wasn’t fully solved. I could use the net intermittently at Cairo. Later when I visited other places like Aswan etc. there was neither voice nor data available. I tried everything that I was told over wsapp when I had wifi connection but to no avail. I had very bad experience with T SIM card. I bought 2 nos Tsim for me & my wife during visit to Egypt. On 18.12.2018 after landing at Cairo about 10AM I found both card inactive. I called my father at Kolkata by other persons mobile (Matrix sim).He instantly communicated customercare at Mumbai. The Kolkata agent said that it will be activated soon,after that he did not attend the phone call of my father.The T sim customercare were helpful but failed to activate it at that time. I have been using this card for a while now and visited quite a few countries. For the most part it worked well. But I was quite disappointed with it during my recent visit to Kenya and UAE. First of all, data was not available in Kenya. Which is a huge disappointment as data is more important these days than voice calls. Next, the rate was twice in UAE than the normal rate. Most disappointing of all is the fact that there is NO WAY to recharge if I am abroad and run out of data. Obviously, I can’t use my Indian credit card as I am not getting the OTP on this TSIM number and strangely, TSIM does not allow the use of foreign credit cards. This policy of TSIM is really bizarre given the fact that this card is exclusively for use abroad. Also they did not provide any credit despite I being their loyal customer. I contacted their customer support asking for some data credit which I promised to repay as soon as I return home. But they refused. I was absolutely let down during my recent trip and I am seriously considering using some other SIM for my next visit abroad.

I used Moto Phone. Auto latch was not happening at all. I needed to manually search the network every time I changed the country, to check each operator available and try to latch in one by one. After multiple attempts only, I could be able to latch in one of the available operators. In Estonia (Tellin) it did not work at all.
However once it latched to any network and signal is shown, it worked properly. Further the calling through app did not work at many places where free wifi was available. Instead I used whatsapp call from those locations in Helsinki, Switzerland and Paris.

This SIM card will normally select network automatically in all the countries you traveled in. However, if it does not immediately do so, it is recommended to turn off the phone for 10 minutes and turn it on again. If initially you manually select a network, then you will need to do so everywhere you travel till you switch back to auto mode. We regret the inconvenience.

Was very disappointed with service of Tsim. SIM card did not work for 5 days out of my 14 day trip. No calls, no data. After sending multiple emails and WhatsApp messages, service began after 4 days of my trip. And again, the second last day of my trip, service stopped. Again I contacted Tsim and complained and I was informed my limit was used up. I replied saying that was impossible as I knew my usage was well below what I had purchased. Then when I was at the airport returning to India, service resumed again.
The whole point of buying a SIM from India is so you are always connected from the moment you land. It was so inconvenient to look for WiFi zones so that I could even email Tsim about not having service. And then they cut my service at the end even though I had much of my limit still left.
They also say “refundable-pay for what you use”. When I asked Tsim for the refund after my return for unused calls/data, then I was informed of all the conditions and but given any refund.
I had a horrible experience with Tsim.
Additionally, the customer service is not 24 hours. When in Brazil and USA, I would email Tsim and would only get a response 12+ hours later which is basically India working hours. So my whole day would go without network or even a response from Tsim. Sometimes the response would be “please restart your phone and try again” which is obviously something you’ve already tried.
Also, the refund on the ‘global refundable SIM card’ has conditions that aren’t clearly communicated while purchasing. Firstly, data and calls are linked in usage limit. So if u make a call, data is reduced and vice versa. That was not explained. Plus I bought a 200min/2gb data card but refund is only for above 100 calls/1gb. Also not explained at time of purchase. So the refund didn’t happen and service was non-existant 5-6 days of my 14 day trip.
I can’t even begin to explain not having service while abroad even after buying a SIM. Can’t use uber, maps, WhatsApp, calls, anything/everything.
Horrible experience.

We regret the poor performance of our card. Certain sudden changes made by our local operator in Brazil started a chain of issues that lead to the this. Thank you for taking the time to detail the issues. We are working to see that this does not happen again.
As for the refund, it is applicable only from slab to slab. i.e. if you take a 2GB card and use not even upto 1GB, then the difference between the price of the 1GB and the 2GB card is refunded. This is explained in greater detail on the product page. However, due the multiple issues you have had, the helpdesk will be in touch with you regarding this.

I used the TSIM in London starting 25 May 2018. When purchasing the TSIM, the agent assured me that the SIM would start working as soon as I land in London. However it simply did not work. I tried implementing the steps several times, restarted the phone etc but nothing worked. I used the Heathrow airport WiFi to get in touch with customer service and followed their instructions as well (the same instructions as before). But the problem continued. I was getting the error message “not registered on this network”. After a while it started giving the error message
“The network is under maintainance. Please try after some time”. We could not make the very crucial calls to reach our accommodation. We had to ask passers-by to call for us. It is quite unacceptable that the network of a company such as TSIM goes down for maintainance in a busy place like London during the busiest time of the day !! Complaining to TSIM did not result in any response. I have preserved the long list of SMS messages at various times right into the night, each saying the same as above. Finally the SIM started working around 23:00, i.e., 9hours after we landed. There was no refund or any acknowledgement from TSIM. A Matrix SIM that I had on two previous trips to England had worked perfectly but was a temporary country-specific SIM. I therefore had thought TSIM was a better SIM but alas!
The SIM did not work properly in Houston airport in USA. Only text worked. Call-back and data did not work. In Morelia, Mexico, only text worked but calling and data did not. The SIM worked properly only in Frankfurt (airport).

1. Sim stopped working suddenly and when i contacted the customer service, they had mistakenly assumed i had run out of credit ( i had 2 GB data but services were stopped when i cross 1 GB ) – luckily this happened when i had access to wifi to contact customer service. Got resolved in about 2 hours so that was good.
2. Data did not work in Bosnia. Now i am not sure if, even if its a global sim, whether one needs to give the list of countries travelling to. I had only listed Serbia and Montenegro and Bosnia was an impulsive plan. Or maybe Bosnia isnt a place many people go to and hence data service isnt there.

The sim card worked for incoming calls only and outgoing sms only. I was unable to make outgoing calls. I had to send sms to India, where my son contacted TSIM and they made some changes. The outgoing call facility started on the second day of my stay in Egypt.

I regularly used to buy country/region specific sim cards and this time I purchased 2 of those global life time sim cards with prepaid top ups. I used them in China and nowhere I got 3G or 4G. I only got very slow 2G network. I tried all auto/manual network settings. I used with one+5 and Vivo v7plus phones. In one sim card I did not even made one single call and when I tried to call a local number, I got a voice and sms mentioning your credit is over!!! The first thing what I did when I came back to India was to throw those sims in dust bin. I do not recommend those sims. Please buy country specific short time validity sims which really works.

According to records forwarded to us by our network partners, your SIMs were able to access Data till they ran out of credit on the 2nd and 27th Nov respectively. We are unable to check what speed this Data was accessed at. We agree with your comment that where ever available, country specific SIMs provide better performance.

It did not inform you about your usage, and the sim suddenly died down on us at a time when we needed it in an emergency. We had to ask someone with data to recharge it. The number to dial ( which I inquired on email)later to tell balance did not work. kept saying incorrect code.So one had no way of knowing that the sim is working or not. In USA it worked in bits and parts. On return to UK, it again worked sporadically at Heathrow, and the data did not automatically reconnect.

I used TSIM’s Refundable Lifetime Global SIM Card during my recent travel to France, Germany and Austria. The card got activated immediately upon landing and the data started flowing after I set the APN manually to “globaldata” as per instructions. The sim worked mostly without any issues as I moved from one country to the next. Only thing I needed to do was to restart the phone on entering a new country.
I am very satisfied with TSIM and the service provided and the prices are also quite reasonable. As travel gets very easy one you are connected and apps like Google maps, Translate, etc. start working, I highly recommend getting a sim card before you start your trip.

When I bought this sim card I had some doubts whether it would work. But so far I have visited 2 countries and it has seamlessly delivered mobile network and 3g data to me (I had to set up the APN manually for data to work but that’s quite easy and works exactly like the instructions). And the best part is that I still have a lot of call time and data left (I had a good wifi connection in my hotel) that I intend to use a few months later when I travel abroad again to a third country. Had I not gone with this I’d have to buy a prepaid sim card from every individual country which would cost me 3-4 times as much total just till now, and those wouldn’t allow me to make calls to India on the cheap either. I’m glad I went for this product instead.
