Using the SIM Card
Using the SIM Card for the first time
- Power off your phone
- Insert your new SIM card into the first SIM card slot
- Power on your phone
- Your phone should connect on a GSM/WCDMA/LTE network.
Please also note, using this SIM card to surf Internet or make calls outside coverage countries will significantly reduce the data and voice usage capacity, or even cause the SIM card to stop functioning.
Receiving calls
People anywhere in the world can dial your UK number directly to reach you, for example, +44774132 12345.
Making Calls through Reverse Call
This SIM uses reverse call for outbound calls. When you dial using reverse call, the call disconnects and you receive a return call connecting you with the number you want to speak to.
If you fail to get a call back, redial the number followed by the “#” key.
Making local calls
For the purposes of this card, local calls include calls to any country in the same slab as the country from which you are calling. To make such calls use the full international format. E.g. to call a UK landline number from any country use (for example) +44 207 222 1234.
Emergency Call Number.
Please note Europe emergency call number “112” will NOT work in this card.
Making calls to India
Remember to add the country code when making calls to India. Check that the number begins with +91 before dialing. E.g. to call India number 022 24216344, dial +91 22 24216344

Should you use automatic or manual network selection?
There are two ways of selecting a network. You can either set your handset to use AUTOMATIC Network selection or MANUAL selection. When using automatic selection the handset will look for all networks that it is able to attach to and logs onto the first network it finds. When using manual selection you must manually search through the networks and select a network to attach to. We recommend using automatic network selection. Please refer to your handset manual to check the default settings for your phone.
Setting up call forwarding/divert
To activate call forwarding/call divert, dial *102(phone number in international format)#. You will get a confirmation message on the screen. For eg. *102912224216344#. To deactivate dial *103#
Setting data on your phone
Please ensure Mobile Data & Data Roaming is enabled on your phone. Setup APN (Access Point Name) manually as follows:
Set Access Point Name (APN) in your smartphone to “globaldata” without any username or password
On Android Phones, tap the Menu button / Settings / Mobile networks / Access Point Names / New APN / Set Name & APN as “globaldata” / OK / Save
On iPhone: Tap Settings / General / Network / Cellular Data Network / APN and enter “globaldata”. Leave username & password blank. Tap Network
On iPhone6 & above:
a. While connected to WiFi, open Safari and goto: m.apnchanger.org
b. Select Manual
c. Enter “globaldata” in APN Name (small letters & no spaces) and click install.
d. If asked for a PIN enter your iPhone 4 digit unlocking PIN
e. Approve the installation of the unsigned profile.
On some iPhone devices you will need to remove the existing current Profile (found in Settings-> General -> Profile -> Existing Profile -> Remove) before installing the Globaldata APN.
On Windows Phone: Go to Apps list / Settings / Mobile Network / Add Internet APN / Set APN as “globaldata” / Save
Checking your Balance
You will periodically get automatic balance messages on your phone. Another way to get balance information is to dial +163 162 10 001 from your phone and disconnect after a few rings. The call will not be answered and you will not be charged for that call. You will later receive an SMS with balance information.
Online Refill
Use this link to instantly add credit to this card. This link requires you to know either the SIM serial number (printed on the SIM) or the SIM phone number. If you are sure of neither, it is best to use the drop down under “New Card or Refill?” and choose Refill. Our helpdesk will trace out your earlier TSIM phone number and if necessary verify it with you before crediting the card.
Refund Policy
You are eligible for a refund on unused talktime/data with usage rounded to the next slab. I.e. If you use 2.8GB after subscribing to a 6GB SIM card, your usage will be taken to be 4GB, and you will get refund on the difference between the price of a 4GB and 6GB card. This refund is available for 12 months after payment.

Quite good. So far tested in Singapore and China. Works well. It may take some time (Couple of minutes) to start working when we change the country but works well. Good options for everyone who is traveling in multiple countries, or who often go on foreign trips. This will ensure you have the same number in every trip and you/your loved once can contact in case of emergency (or otherwise too) right from when you land. Recommended.

I had purchased Lifetime Global Sim Card from TSIM and installed in my Samsung A30 Phone. It was working for about couple of hours since I landed in Milan / Genoa in the evening on 9-July. Thereafter it did not work at all. I had called up TSIM from Genoa on 10-July from alternate number. I was asked to remove the Sim and re-install after 10 minutes. I tried many times like this, without success. I was put into lot of inconvenience. After couple of days I returned to India and approached TSIM. They informed that because of the Network Problem, SIM would not have worked. I was unable to buy this argument. Even though TSIM refunded my amount it left a bitter taste for me.

Initially I was a bit skeptic on whether to use this or not. But it turned out to be an excellent choice. During my transit through Doha it did not work. But through my family using internet wifi I came to know that the sim must be inserted in the first sim slot to work. The company should have mentioned this somewhere explicitly. Later I changed to first sim slot and it worked in Germany, Spain, Italy and Slovenia perfectly. I will be transiting through Doha again on my return let us see if it works there or not. Nonetheless, it was a very good choice and thanks to Tsim.

Purchased SIM card for my Finland, Sweden and Norway trip. Although it worked in all countries, I faced some problems in Finland. The network didn’t work for several hours at one point of time. APN automatically changed and I had to reset it manually several times specially after crossing borders and sometimes even on highways and moving from one city to another in same country.
The most frustrating part however was frequent communication from T-sim side. From the time I ordered SIM and till I returned India, I kept getting messages to upload documents e.g. Passport and Visa, which I had already uploaded. Before departing, I contacted support staff about this issue and they confirmed that they received my documents and I shall ignore SMS and emails as they were arising because of a system fault. While abroad, I received message from T-SIM on my whatsapp (in addition to email) requesting document upload immediately failing which services will be discontinued. This was really annoying and unprofessional.
Overall, the purpose of communication was served but the experience was not a pleasant one.

At times I use to not get the network and especially in this last 2 months in Europe and I was told to switch off my phone for few mins and than start and it was going well.
Sometimes I feel the consumption is wrongly calculated or something is wrong with the system as at times I feel I am charged wrongly.

Used in Canada and USA. Outgoing calls proved a challenge and had to contact the service team repeatedly. They were nice enough to respond each time and the solution was to remove and replace the SIM. Having to do that repeatedly to get the phone working was rather inconvenient.
Once connected, call quality was good.
Data did work despite repeated attempts and I am wondering what to do when I travel again in the near future.

I got a refill of 400 min done on 9 may 2019 to my existing sim. All was good till I randomly went and checked the balance, turned out they had only topped up the sim with 380 min. Post that i’ve been in constant touch with the customer care. Every time i sent a message i had to explain the issue all over again as no one had any clue. I messaged them continuously for 6 days, and the only response i got was “the balance minutes will be added to the sim, and you can check it in 24 hours”. Till date neither have i got those balance minutes, neither has anyone from the customer care reached out to me. No follow ups done, no confirmations sent…pathetic customer service

We apologise for the confusion regarding your order. We advise customers to use the instant credit link to refill the card, rather than the drop down “New Card or Refill?”. The drop down is left as a courtesy for customers that have neither the SIM phone number or serial number at hand, or are unsure of these. These numbers are then searched out by our team and verified for the customer. The process of adding credit is a 2 stage one, in which some credit is added immediately to facilitate emergency use and the rest after the verification process is complete. At this point you should certainly see your complete credit added.

I was very excited about the concept of a lifetime global card so I purchased one for my trip to Egypt and Jordan. In Egypt, at Cairo I could make calls but I had purchased the phone for data and it just wouldn’t work. I contacted the customer care in India and they were very responsive but the problem wasn’t fully solved. I could use the net intermittently at Cairo. Later when I visited other places like Aswan etc. there was neither voice nor data available. I tried everything that I was told over wsapp when I had wifi connection but to no avail. Unfortunately I lost my phone in Jordan so I couldn’t check the service there.
Bottom line is that at least for Egypt this was money down the drain. I sure hope that they fix the issues because the concept of a single international number is truly good.
